Bouillon

Bouillon is a town and municipality in the province of Luxembourg, in the Ardennes, its 149 square kilometres taking in Corbion, Poupehan, Rochehaut, Dohan and other villages, with 5,477 inhabitants in total, 36.7 to the square kilometre. The town sits beneath its castle on the rock above the river. It is thin country, more forest than field, and the walking above the river is the point: the viewpoints at Rochehaut and Corbion look down on the meanders from a height that makes the whole valley readable.
