Naples

Naples is the regional capital of Campania in southern Italy, with 905,050 people inside the city limits as of 2026, the largest city in the south and the third largest in Italy after Rome and Milan. Its province-level municipality is the third most populous metropolitan city in the country. Naples is loud, vertical and unusually intact: the Greek street grid still runs under the centre, and Vesuvius stands over the bay. It is also the best-fed city in Italy, and that is not a small claim here.
