Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park

The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park was established in 1988 in the province of Belluno in the Veneto, and forms part of the Pale di San Martino – San Lucano – Dolomiti Bellunesi – Vette Feltrine section of the Dolomites, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. It is the quieter end of the Dolomites: fewer lifts, fewer villages inside the boundary and correspondingly fewer people on the paths. The limestone is the same, and so is the light on it in the last hour of the day.
