Cabrera Archipelago National Park

The Cabrera Archipelago Maritime-Terrestrial National Park protects the whole of the Cabrera archipelago in the Balearic Islands. At 908 square kilometres it is the largest national park in Spain, but 895 of those are sea. The land is a fraction of it. It attracts relatively few visitors compared with the parks of the mainland, which is precisely its character: uninhabited scrub-covered islands, a castle above the harbour, and water clear enough that the marine reserve is the main event. Access is by licensed boat from Mallorca, and numbers are limited.
