Kitzbühel

A medieval town in the Leukental on the Kitzbüheler Ache, between Zell am See and Innsbruck, and one of the most famous and exclusive ski resorts in the world. The Hahnenkamm Races, held here every year, are the hardest ski race there is, and they draw the attention of the sport worldwide. Property in the town ranks consistently among the most expensive anywhere, and its closeness to Munich has made it a preferred spot for holiday homes among the German elite.
