About Valdobbiadene

Valdobbiadene is a town in the province of Treviso, below the Alpine and Dolomite country of the Veneto, where the climate suits the Glera grape. With nearby Conegliano it is home to the best Prosecco, and on 7 July 2019 Le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hills also make the Superiore di Cartizze, and the town has hosted the national sparkling wine exhibition, now the Sparkling Wine Forum of Italy, for over forty years. You can arrive in Conegliano by train and reach the hills by bus. Autumn, at harvest, is the time to walk the slopes.
