Keukenhof

Keukenhof, in the bulb country at Lisse between Haarlem and the coast, is among the largest flower gardens in the world. Around seven million bulbs go into its thirty-two hectares every year, and while tulips are the draw there are also hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, irises, roses and carnations laid out through woodland and along water. It opens to the public for only eight weeks, from the middle of March to the middle of May, with the peak usually falling near mid-April depending on the season. In 2025 it drew 1.4 million visitors. Buses run from Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol.
